FAQ

About Pretzel Post

What is Pretzel Post?
A small letter subscription based in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. Each month we write you a real handwritten letter about our adventures in medieval Germany — illustrated in old manuscript style and sent with a German postage stamp. Written in English. Watched over by our little dog Rudi.

Will I ever get a duplicate letter?
Never. Each month is a new story.

Can I request a specific location in Germany?
Yes — email us at support@pretzelpost.de and we'll do our best to report from there in a future letter.

Subscriptions

What plans are available?
Monthly, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month subscriptions. The monthly plan renews each month. Longer plans are prepaid upfront and renew automatically at the then-current rate when the period ends.

When will I be billed?
All subscriptions renew on the 15th of the month.

How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime before the 15th via your account portal or by emailing support@pretzelpost.de. You'll receive every letter you've already paid for.

Shipping & Delivery

How much is shipping?
We ship worldwide from Germany via DHL. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location.

When are letters sent?
Letters ship the first week of each month.

How long does delivery take?
Typically 7–10 days. International post can be affected by tariffs, customs, or world events — we do everything we can but cannot be responsible for postal delays.

Pricing

Can prices change?
We keep prices as low as possible. If your subscription price ever increases, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days in advance so you can cancel before it takes effect. Shipping rates reflect current carrier costs and may vary.
