Hi! Guten Tag! My name is Suzanne and I'm the writer behind the scenes of Pretzel Post. I live with my dog Rudi in Rothenburg Germany.

As a child I was already intrigued by foreign cultures and started exchanging letters with a girl in far-away Japan. It was the highlight of my day to come home from school and find something in the mailbox. By age twelve I had a dozen penpals from all over the world. I remember how exciting that was and can help you experience it too!

Our furry friend Rudi is a Pekingese, born in a small village in rural Hungary. We adopted him from a shelter during the epidemic and he is a beloved member of our family. He enjoys sniffing through our old medieval city and accompanying us on expeditions.

His full name is „Rudolf Friedrich von Rothenburg" but we call him Rudi for short. His royal lineage dates back to the ancient Asian Empire. And he reminds us daily just how royal he is!
